Regarding the decisions taken by the BAP Coordination Commission based on the Austerity Measures
Based on the Circular on Austerity Measures dated 17.05.2024 and numbered 2024/7 published in the Official Gazette, the decisions taken by the BAP Commission as of 06.06.2024 are given below.
- The total budget to be supported for the General Research Project, Career Start Project, Joint Cooperation Research Project and International Cooperation Research Project will be reduced by 25%
- Congress/symposium participation travel support will be limited to 25,000 TL and once a year.
- Stationery subsidies will be removed
- Requests for computers, computer parts and laptops within the scope of ongoing projects will be limited to 50,000 TL, with a maximum of 1 piece.
- It has been decided that the Research Support Project Special Call budget will be limited to 100,000 TL and that only 5 of Q1 and/or Q2 publications addressed to Sakarya University and published in 2024 will be accepted in project applications. Publications benefiting from cash incentives within the scope of the relevant call will not be accepted. The articles in the other application conditions remain valid.
