The authority, duties, and responsibilities of the Commission are as follows:
a. To prepare the project application calendar,
b. Determining the types of projects to be supported and the principles of implementation,
c. Establishing procedures and principles regarding the execution, evaluation, implementation, monitoring, and conclusion of project applications,
d. Prepearing the forms to be used for projects,
e. Determining the support limits to be provided for researchers and projects,
f. Drafting the project protocol to be used for supported projects,
g. Evaluating and deciding on project applications, sending project proposals to referees as necessary, evaluating received reports, and deciding whether to support the project,
h. Assessing interim reports received from coordinators of the ongoing projects and covering the relevant period of the projects,
i. Evaluating and deciding on requests for additional time, additional budget, and any other requests from project coordinators,
j. Conducting on-site inspections of project activities and/or commissioning experts in the field as deemed necessary, replacing project coordinators, and terminating projects if necessary,
k. Deciding on the necessary sanctions in cases of non-compliance with the provisions of the directive and project protocol,
Performing other tasks assigned by the Rector within the scope of relevant regulation,
Authority, Duties, and Responsibilities of the Coordinator:
a. Organizing and carrying out the programs and activities of the Coordination Office in accordance with the relevant legislation, guidelines, and Commission decisions,
b. Preparing announcements about projects, handling correspondence,
c. Preparing agendas for commission meetings,
d. Acting as a rapporteur during commission meetings,
e. Ensuring communication and coordination in the activities of the Coordination Office and the Commission,
f. Providing periodic written reports to the Rector or the Deputy Rector assigned by the Rector regarding the activities of the Commission and Coordination Office
g. Appointing a assessment officer for project procurement process,
h. Submitting reports to the Rectorate annually on supported, ongoing, and completed projects for public announcement,
Performing other tasks and transactions assigned by the senior manager(s).
